Capacity Management

How the Waiting Room Works

The waiting room sits between the meeting join URL and the active meeting session. Participants land in the waiting room first, and V100 evaluates auto-admit rules or holds them for host review.

Participant Joins

Participant clicks the join URL and lands in the waiting room. They see your custom branding, welcome message, and their queue position if capacity is full.

Rules Evaluated

V100 checks auto-admit rules (authentication, domain, role, time). If a rule matches, the participant is admitted immediately. Otherwise, they are held for host review.

Host Review

Host sees waiting participants with their name, email, and avatar. Host admits or denies individually or in batch. Webhook fires for each admit/deny action.

Admitted participant transitions from waiting room to active meeting session. Their media connections are established and they appear in the participant grid.
