The Single-CDN Problem

Every CDN has regions where it underperforms. CloudFront's edge presence is thinner in parts of Africa and South America. Regional CDNs in Asia may not have PoPs in Europe. V100 continuously probes each configured CDN from multiple regions, measuring latency, throughput, error rates, and cache hit ratios. When a CDN's health score drops below threshold (increased error rates, latency spikes, reduced throughput), V100 automatically reduces traffic to that CDN and shifts it to healthier alternatives. Full CDN outages trigger immediate failover with no manual intervention required.
